🍰喫茶・洋菓子の名店「ボンボン」@名古屋☕

昭和生まれの名古屋人なら、一度は訪れたことがあるであろう老舗喫茶「ボンボン」へ行ってきました。

私にとっては、幼い頃、松坂屋での買い物帰りに、今は亡き両親と一緒に立ち寄ってケーキを楽しんだ、大切な思い出の場所。今でも、昭和の空気感そのままに、タイムスリップしたかのようなノスタルジックな空間が広がっています。

当時はバタークリームのケーキが主流だった時代。そんな中、生クリームのケーキに出会った衝撃と感動は、今でも忘れられません。ワゴンで運ばれてくるケーキを目の前で選べるのも、子ども心にワクワクした思い出。私はいつも、イチゴの乗ったババロアとスポンジケーキを選んでいました。それはまさに「夢」の時間でした。

今日は、いつも私を支えてくれている方のお誘いで、元税理士の方と3人で再訪。ご馳走にもなり、感謝の気持ちでいっぱいです。こんなにも心の温かい人がいるんだと、改めて人の縁のありがたさを実感しました。

良い出会いは、何歳になってもある。だからこそ、私はこのご恩に一生かけて応えたいと思っています。昭和の空間と美味しいケーキに、心も体も元気をもらいました。

私が、恩返ししなければいけない番。仕事、もっと頑張らなきゃいけませんね！

🍰 BONBON: A Retro Coffee & Cake Shop in Nagoya ☕

If you were born in the Showa era and grew up in Nagoya, chances are you’ve heard of "Bonbon" — a beloved old-school café and cake shop with a long history.

For me, it’s a nostalgic place filled with precious memories. As a child, I used to stop by here with my late parents after shopping at Matsuzakaya department store. Even now, the interior remains almost unchanged, capturing the warm atmosphere of a bygone era.

Back then, buttercream cakes were the norm. So when I first tasted a fresh cream cake here, it was a revelation! I still remember the excitement of choosing a cake from a cart the waiter brought around. I always picked the bavarois with a strawberry on top — a dream dessert for any kid.

Today, I visited again with someone who always supports me, and a retired tax accountant. I was kindly treated, and my heart is full of gratitude. It reminded me how lucky I am to meet such wonderful people — people who inspire me to become better.

Great encounters can happen at any age. I’m determined to give back to those who've supported me, and to keep working hard. The Showa-style space and delicious cake gave me the boost I needed!
